You are the proud owner of a Moto? Want to know when you will receive the latest update of Android, nicknamed Lollipop? Motorola France spoke to writing LesMobiles.com and offered few details about the arrival of Lollipop on its range.
US Motorola has been one of the most prompt manufacturers to announce its intention to Lollipop on all smartphones in its class. An update that has already started airing in the United States, there has one month on the Moto X 2nd generation. Then, earlier this week , the Moto G first generation began receiving it in India. But as always, the deployment information for French consumers arrive at dropper.
A global update
Giving an interview to writing LesMobiles.com (the content will be released this weekend, stay tuned), Motorola France has confirmed (if still needed) that Android 5.0 will be deployed throughout France the current range. This includes six models currently under KitKat (Moto X Moto G, G 4G Moto, Moto E, Moto X Moto G and 2nd generation 2nd generation). No jealous.
The first serve is excellent Moto X 2nd generation we tested in October . French teams are still working on the ROM and should be able to make it available for download by the end of December. Either in the next three weeks ... Good news for spending the winter break, warm, tame Lollipop.
Moto X 2nd gen first, the other in 2015
All other models will be progressively updated at the beginning of next year. If Motorola has not confirmed, we believe that the range Moto G, the one that works best commercially (including the first Moto G), will face the first priority Moto Moto X and E. The fact that the Moto G is the second model updated (in India) after the second Moto X, is a strong sign. The aim of these updates fast vis-à-vis the stock Android version is important. Motorola wants to demonstrate that the brand is back, still responsive despite buyout Lenovo will be far from easy to handle. The company relies on customer satisfaction to customer loyalty. And provide after-sales service is a component of this strategy.
